X-Ray Mass Attenuation Coefficients

Table 4. Values of the mass attenuation coefficient, mu over rho, and the mass energy-absorption coefficient, $mu e n over rho, as a function of photon energy, for compounds and mixtures. The compositions of various human tissues were taken from ICRU Report 44 (1989). Absorption edges for the constituent atoms are indicated by the atomic number and shell designation.
